Life on the airpark continues to showcase the strong sense of community and shared passion for aviation that bring our residents together!
Our recent community gatherings included a Super Bowl watch party and a Valentine’s Day potluck brunch hosted by EAA Chapter 1459. At the meeting, we were delighted by Sarah Westfall’s presentation on the new course she is teaching to Clint high school students as part of a community collaboration which includes North Arkansas College.
With the beautiful white blanket left by the recent snowstorm, we also shared opportunities to help one another dig out of the snow.
Lastly, we are making progress towards our donation goal to improve accessibility to the community center. If you would like to contribute, please do so before the end of March. (See the February HMPOA meeting minutes you should have received via email.)

On January 1, 2026 we celebrated the new year together! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our delicious pot luck, and thank you to our hosts: Beth & Beau Sharpe, Vicky & Blaine Streeter, and Shirley & Rich Scroggins. And, a very SPECIAL thank you to Dawn Beers for coordinating another successful gathering! It was wonderful to share a meal together, especially with those we have not seen recently.
We started with appetizers at the Sharp’s…

Followed by the main course at the community center. This year, tables were individually decorated by volunteer table ‘hosts’. We have very creative neighbors!

We wrapped up the night with sweet desserts!

Happy 2026 to All!
We had our first Snow of the season, it lasted 5 beautiful minutes!

Every December, our local EAA Chapter 1458 had its annual Christmas party. All HMA friends and families are invited. Rather than the standard “Ugly Sweater Party”, we went with a “Pinecones and Plaid” decorating theme. Our newest EAA member Sam, created wood bases for our table centerpieces, thanks Sam.

We also decided that instead of the standard gift exchange, we would hold our first charity auction to benefit the no-kill “Almost Home Animal Rescue”. We have many very talented folks here, around 50% of the items up for auction were hand made. It was a huge success and lots of fun for all that attending the Christmas party.

The “Almost Home Animal Rescue” thanked us for raising over $1500 at our event. They posted a thank you on Facebook. NOTE: Donations can be made directly from their Facebook Account. There is a huge need for donations at all animal rescues here in AR.

We also enjoyed a viewing of Dwight & Kathy’s Christmas themed train. The kids especially loved this!

Fall has arrived on beautiful Holley Mountain, bringing with it a season full of color, community, and unforgettable moments that continue to highlight the fun and feel of the magic that is HMA!
Once again, we were able to see the northern lights here on HMA! Such a special treat!
Every November, HMA has its Annual POA meeting in our community room. The Community Room tables were decorated by our talented residents.
In preparation of fall and winter gatherings, Russ Beers made a beautiful coat rack for the community room.
