SUMMARY:2nd Annual Scavenger Hunt
DESCRIPTION:We will again be hosting area pilots to fly-in for a day of fun and fellowship.  Small teams will be challenged to find hidden items around the airpark using hints provided.  Plan to do some walking.  Like last year\, there will be overnight camping under the wing available the night before.  Otherwise\, pilots should arrive about 9-10am on the 17th\, with the hunt beginning about 10:30am.  A cookout lunch will be available about noon (donations requested) while we tally the results\, with the winners being announced about 1:30pm.  Prizes will be awarded!  Pre-registration required for this free event.  Contact us at Events.at.HMA@gmail.com or call Russ Beers at 860-681-1328.  Rain date is May 31st. \nY

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Spring Cleanup Day\, on Saturday\, April 25th at 9:00am. We’ll spruce up the area by clearing fallen tree limbs\, brush\, and leaves from around our properties\, common areas\, and along the taxiways. Whether you can bring a rake\, a trailer\, a chainsaw\, an extra set of hands\, or just your smiling face and encouragement\, every bit of help makes a difference. After the work is done\, we’ll fire up the grill for a relaxed potluck barbecue. Come help us work and enjoy the  company of fellow pilots and neighbors who make living and flying here so special.
